Using the in game editor

Sorry if this has been asked, but i couldnt fine it

If i am part way through a season, and use the ingame editor to change a riders team, by loading in a weekly save, do i then just reload my normal game for the change to be in effect?

There is no in-game editor, but there is the official editor which comes with the game. I don't know if you can use that editor to edit the save, I though it is only to edit the database.

But whatever editor you are using, you need to edit the actual save and not one of the backups which are in the WeeklySave folder. The saves can be found here: my documents\pmc2011\users\your name\database\solo\name of db\

Finally, after you did your editing, you need to load the edited file (due to obvious reasons). You can only select and load careers which are in the above mentioned folder, so put the edited file in and then select it in the game.

When editing the career save file, you should consider making a backup of the file before you start editing, or save the edits under another file name.
