The flat hilly conundrum of Koln has arrived for the ProTour teams to contend. Hilly rated, and theres certainly hills to be taken, but the finish is flat, which could well lead to some unpredictability.
Puncheurs from Bakelandts to Trofimov, and Ponzi to Van Garderen are here. EB Hagen is having a season to forget so far - could that change? - while Ulissi is sure to remember this year, having triumphed at Milan SanRemo. Then theres the German challenge. Stefan Schumacher is one, plus the Wildcard duo of Wegmann and Kessler.
Maybe it will be a sprint though? Boonen, Swift, Bennati and Roelandts are all here. While somewhere in the middle is Ventoso.

I go for a Wildcard win here.
Wegmann should be able to take it.
Or in a slower race maybe Bennati. |

I'm thinking Wegmann too. Or Swift in a sprint.

Perfect parcours for Eddy Boss of you ask me...
Possibly maybe Ponzi, though neither were major factors at MSR of course.

If Ponzi wins then I expect a quote about him scheming his way to victory in the report. |

No offense against the ProTour-teams, but it would be very nice if Wegmann would do it Will be interesting to follow, as I live in Cologne.

This should be a very interesting race. Big question should be how hard those hills turns out to be, if they doesn't prove too hard, giving us a sprint between ~50 riders, I somehow fancy Bennati for the win. Ventoso might be a safer bet though. But in any case, it should be a wide open race.
And of course I cheer for the wildcards, always fun when an underdog makes a surprising win |

Could this be the race for Ventoso?
Somehow I doubt it, but it seems perfect for him.

Thanks for supporting Wegmann, but i don´t think he can do it. A Top10 is the aim here. And don´t forget the possibilty of a breakaway

Gogo Wegmann! As Flügel didn't get the wildcard to race this I gotta cheer for Wegmann! (I could cheer for Schumacher.... Buuut he's Schumacher ;-))

Nothin wrong with Schumacher
I wouldn't bother cheering for him because he has a tendency to not do anything.

Ok, I guess I was supposed to win that for a goal. Will I still get some credit, or does 2nd count just as much as coming in last in terms of Goals?
