Database editor stops working after 2013

Hi
I went to change a couple things in the database editor in 2013, and when I tried to save it an error occurs and I'm unable to make any changes. I'm still able to play the game, but HTC has Farrar, griepel, boasson hagan, goss and cav. It would be great to spread those guys around the peloton.
I noticed that this happened in the previous career I started but thought nothing of it. but because it keeps crashing after 2013, I was wondering if you guys could help.

If you play with the pcmdaily expansion pack, you should not use the database editor which comes with the game.

If you play with the pcmdaily expansion pack and have not installed the fix for the variants before you started a career, then you have to fix the corrupt stages before you can save.

If neither of these is your problem, then please clarify.

post @14 would be the fix for the variants, but there is also info how to fix the wrong stages and some other fixed stages.
