Does anyone actually struggle with the riders moral? I can't remember seeing anyone on my team with a lower moral then "very happy", no matter what I do.
I've got 24 riders split evenly into three teams so everyone will end up at about 60 days. I've got a rider who has a contract as an absolute leader, yet i always use him as a helper, still he is happy as a clam.
Can moral actually decrease or am I just a brilliant manager?
There are certain aspects of the managerial part of the game that I'm simply clueless about. How to lower the moral is one of them. Keep winning -> everybody's happy, that should be it.
If offense is the best defence, does it mean that defence is the worst defence?

If I recall, not sending them to favourite races and also accepting money to send them to races, particularly if you then talk to the media.
I have never once sent any of my riders to any of their favourite races, atleast not on purpose. It seems nearly every riders preferred race is P-R, Tour de France or something like that.
When talking to the media I allways choose the "team-option".

Talking to the media: sometimes when I chosse the rider-option, to tell that he did great, the reaction is: "Thanks, than I'll take it a little more easy". No, that's professional.........
Concerning the favourite races: a little bit, but non-cobbles riders want to race Flanders and sprinters love a Vuelta with 2 chances for a mass sprint. Only send the leaders and luxury teammates to the races they want, when it i s possible.

I use to prise the rider if I'm building his form for an important race, team option when I'm in that race and media if I win that important race. It's working for me so far.

It will happen at an odd time with an odd rider, but it odes happen occaionally.
