online save gamed problem

I am online with a friend working on a multi-day course (climbing trips in the Giro).

The day before yesterday we played the first ride, then we closed it. Yesterday we wanted to go, but when we started up the game, there was a lot of lagg (I saw all in shock as host and go with him stood the game on pause).
When it restarted and played two rides. Today we wanted to move on to that stage race, but again did the same problem.

Is this a known bug and / or has something to do?

I think it`s a known bug without solution yet. But not too sure as I never played stage races online.
