Playing PCM with 3d Analyze

This is my annual how can I improve performance on this game thread.

Does anyone play the game using 3d analyze, and if so what settings do you use and how much of a performance increase do you get? My laptop can just about handle the game on low settings, but I'm trying to find any way of improving performance barring splashing £350+ on a new laptop. Thanks
