Beating great climbers on Tour

Amateur Posts: 1 Joined: 16-08-2011 PCM$: 200.00	Hi, was anyone able to beat Contador, Schlecks and Evans on TDF with weaker climber? I finished 3rd and 4th with Peter Velits, best only with 34 seconds after Contador and I think I am able to win Tour with Peter Velits next season. My tactic is to have at least 4 other good climbers (75-79) and haunt usually Contador and A.Schleck on mountains any time they try to escape. Of course they win but just a couple of seconds (0-45) before Velits and I am able to beat them in hill stages or on montains which do not end on mountain, plus better TT than Schlecks. Furthermore, in 2013 I won green jersey with Peter Sagan and beat Cavendish - mostly because he was not able to get sprint points during hill and mountain stages. What are you experiencing with beating great climbers or winning Tour with weaker riders?

Sprinter Posts: 1523 Joined: 23-05-2009 PCM$: 200.00	What matters is which level you play on. On easy and normal you can easyly win the tour with a lower skilled rider. Of course you can also win the tour on hard and extreme, but i haven't experienced it because i almost only play on normal.
