So, I was thinking, if Taylor Phinney has a wonderful Vuelta(providing he goes), will BMC send him to the tour with Evans or will they try send people that can help Evans.

Honestly, Evans didn't really get much help anyway.


What does everyone know/think on this subject?

phinney still has to prove himself in the mountains before we can speak about stuff like this
prevent hangovers --> stay drunk
pozzato, basically the most stupid cyclist around

And there is no way he will do anything special in the overall. He's a strong timetriallist and a decent sprinter, not a stage racer - yet.

There are at least 6-7 young riders I considered better and more talented compared him.
His climbing skill is weak...

It's not about him "proving himself" in the mountains. He has no climbing skills whatsoever, he'll never have any. He's good at other things.
