I just got the game and have had PCM09 have the same issues, 1/2way through a stage the screen just goes black and but the music continues, i have lowered my graphics and don't know what to do...any help is appreciated.

This might be an overheating issue with your graphic card. Check the temperature before and after the crash. There are tools you can download to check the temperature of your graphic card if the original tools do not show it.
