Installation
1. Reinstall your game (especially if you have had previous PCM.daily DB installations) This I have done
But do i need to install something else again in my main folder for pcm before i go to part two of this installation?

2. Download this package using uTorrent or similar, and install it to your main PCM-folder, e.g. Program Files/Cyanide/PCM
3. Open the game and pick PCMdailyExpansionPackV1.cdb in Options -> Database

You should install patch 1.0.4.4 then PCM.daily´s Expansion pack V1

Am I correct in assuming you still need to download the fix for patch 1.0.4.4? Or has the patch been updated?

Install game,then install patch 1.0.4.4 and finally install pcm.daily´s Expansion pack V1.

I included the fix for Patch 1.0.4.4 with PCM.daily's Expansion Pack, so in fact, you only need the Patch and the Expansion Pack.
