I recently kinda got the hang of making stages. I learned most from 2 editors I found elsewhere on the forum.
This thread is meant as a Central Intelligence Forum for Stagemaking.
Under this first main item you can find those 2 basic tutorials.
Newbies can use them to get started.
Answers to further questions should be looked for in the sub-threads.
Should such answers not be found, questions can be posted in the -most- relevant thread.

Thank for the guides! I have a question: I found some "foodmen" on another topic (I think) and want to add it in to the stage. I made a new fiólder in C:/Programs/Cyanide/Pro Cycling Manager 2011/3D/Landscapes/IsolatedObjects called "foodmen" but how do i ad them to the game
I was thinking of adding some sub-threads within this thread.
Possibly sub-threads like: editing DB for new stages, profiles, hills/sloping, road networks, routing (criteriums), "checkstage-errors", and -where your question would fit- scenery!
In 3D Folder, you'll find a "IsolatedObjects.xml". Open it with notepad and add a line with your "foodmen" . Then, in Stage Editor, you'll be able to choose those "Objects"
I tried to create a step from a gpx file I took a course that I created in openrunner. After I file this with the GPS track analysis to record again in gpx and then used the GPStoXML KickerV09 to pass the file to xml. Then it was just open that file with RSM Profiler and add an intermediate sprint, but now I have an xml file and not in the format of the stages of pcm11. What do I change that file to the right format?
