Is it me, or do my scouts not find young riders fast enough? I remember in PCM10 it only took 1 or 2 weeks to find at least 1 young rider, but now it can take 2-3 months before it pops up with a young rider.

Or is it the fact that my scouts are pretty bad: I play with a custom team and my scouts are the cheapest around.

Anyone experience the same?

I think it is to do with the knowledge they have of the area. Leave a scout there long enough and that will increase then they tend to start finding them more quickly.

Scouts with a high reputation don't find that many riders either.

The main problem is that regions are much smaller than before and typically produce about 10 youngsters a year. One is never going to get huge lists like when scouting the whole of Spain in a earlier PCM.

The best way to scout youngsters seems to be the U23 races in this game.

I have a scout in a region in Italy. He has found 2 prospects in 6 months time.

However if you scroll the tab where the prospects name is it shows maybe 10 or 12 other names of riders he "apparently" hasn't yet found.

Why are they there if he hasn't found them? When you click on their name you can investigate them and provide financial support.

Those names shouldn't even be able to be seen if he hasn't found them? Correct? Doesn't make any sense to me......
