I'm currently on a stage making binge, although I'm very new at it. I've created a couple of mountain stages (based in the Appalachian Mountains), a couple flats, and two time trials. I will post if anyone is interested.
Not sure what direction I'm headed in currently, but I would like to make some week-long races, and ultimately a "grand tour" style race that spans either an entire coast (and make two of them) or the entire country. |

The only stages I have made so far have gone through the North Carolina part of the chain, I'm making one now moving a little North of that. Having a ton of fun trying to include as many mountains as possible. The real challenge is finding the proper name for them. |

That's what I do as well, but I like to name the climbs, especially the Cat. 2 and Cat. 1 climbs. Mount Bald and Clark are two I have used a couple of occasions. |

I go back to my route and find the point where the mountain is and just name it the closest city.

I just created a route, about to build the stage, where one climb is rated has HC by MapMyRide and has an average grade of 17.4 %. Another is a Cat. 1 with a grade of 12% .
It's Winston Salem-Boone N.C., and so far the toughest stage with seven rated climbs in 196 kilometers. |

17.4%! does PCM11 allow for deaths during a race? if so...we'll see it on that climb haha

jseadog1, for your Tour of PA, not sure if you're including any stages around Philadelphia, but I was curious if you were able to create stages in that area using the stage editor.
I tried to create the Philadelphia international Championship but the DEM files aren't found for that area. Was wondering if you had any luck |

I'm trying to do the same thing with a tour from Miami beach to NYC. I'm finding it difficult to find tough mountain stages in the northern part of the tour. Near like Pennsylvania, any suggestions on where to look |

It has something to do with the DEM files in that Delaware Valley area.
In other news, I've started working on USA Pro Cycling Challenge hopefully should be ready before that race runs. |
