My career won't let me compete in any races

I was in the middle of a custom career, when the game stopped allowing my team to race in any stages. My team would be entered in a race, but as the day of the race arrived, I would click the arrow to advance to the race, and the "Training" bar would come up, then the game would advance to the next day. And no, it wasn't simulating the race with my team entered in it.

I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game, then began a different career, but the same thing happened.

Any thoughts?
