Sprinting problem

For some reason when I make one of my followers sprint off the cyclist they are following they only stick to the original speed rather than accelarating and going beyond the guy they originally followed. So when it comes up to the finishing line my train is still in its original lineup. |

It's not. You should use 1.0.4.1 rather than 1.0.4.2. |

Is there an easy way to downgrade to 1.0.4.1 without unistalling everything and reinstalling it all?
Oh and thanks for the once again quick replying

It's coming up with an error when installing the patch saying it can't create a new pcm.exe file and now the play option has been removed from the autorun launcher. |

Make sure to run the patch as administrator (Vista or 7: right click)
If that does not help, use the other patch "1.0.4.1 from 1.0.0.0". |

This just improved my game a whole lot, thank you? Does anybody know what the positives are for 1.0.4.2 compared to the former one? |

There are no positives. 
I think this sprint issue was the only thing they wanted to improve but they bugged it even more. |
