I f****** hate DRM... I was so stupid to buy pro cycling manager this year. I have just returned from vacation, bought the game online and installed it and then it want to install a protection driver(only called driver) and it gives me an error saying that i am not administrator... So i cant install it and cant play the game...
The thing is, i am f****** administrator!
Does anyone know how to solve this problem? How can i install the protection driver(probably starforce or whatever its called)
Man, its just plain wrong that they sell you a game you cant play because of the DRM....
Just take it easy, it is not the fault of the game that you do not know how your OS is working. Buy a console if you do not want to learn how to work with a computer.
Download and install the latest patch. Instead of double-clicking the downloaded file, right click it and then click "run as administrator".
I have already installed the latest patch and i know how to run programs as administrator. I have already tried it and verified that i am administrator and it did not help at all.
It still says that im not administrator. btw. im running Windows 7.
Im pretty mad. Mostly because i really wanted to play the game and i have payed for this. Its not even the game thats not working, its the Starforce protection. Things like this makes you want to pirate the game when it's out...
I hope someone else have a solution to this problem. So sad
I bought the downloaded version from cyanides webshop and i have windows 7.
I installed the game. Then tried to run it and it prompted me to auto update(patch) to the newest version. Then it downloaded the newest version and installed it. I then tried to run the game again and it prompted me to install the "protection driver", but then it gives me an error and says that im not administrator and then therefor it cant install the protection driver.
But im clearly the administrator.
I have tried to run PCM-protection, but its the same.
