Can someone explain the team time trials to me? I don't understand the + and - and always come in dead last by a huge time difference.
I've tried various attempts, but all fail.
Help would be appreciated.
Thanks,

the + and - is the time that each rider pulls at the front for. the strategy is supposed to be that you put your best time trialers on maximum or nearly maximum effort depending on the distance and put their time up to say 15 or 20 again depending on the length. but i am also rubbish at TTT so my personal advice is simulate

this is from my copy of a guide. Increase everyone's effort to 83-85. Put your best riders on 15-17 second relays, your worst on 5 second ones. If a rider's blue bar is lower than his green bar, feel free to cancel his relay--you can win a TTT with most of the relays done by 5-6 riders, and the last few done by 3 riders. You will lose a rider or two this way but the team will do well.

I think it depends on how big the stage is. On long ones its good like what the guide states.
On short ones i prefer a short relay but max effort from all riders. |

put your best TT'er in the lead at 99% and make sure he keeps in the lead, of course, if your best TT'er starts at the end of your team, this wont work |
