I have two favorite climbs:
Col du Parpaillon

Climbbybike:
https://climbbybike.com/climb.asp?Col=...ainID=6665
Trollstigen

Climbbybike:
https://www.climbbybike.com/climb.asp?...ainID=7485
And there is a "neat" game where you can drive up this climb here (in Norwegian):

What are your favorite climbs?

I have a bridge, does that count?
It's flat here, unless i go to the Flemish Ardennes (RvV), but i ain't really one for the short steep climbs. I might do the Stelvio this summer, so i'll let it know.

I have to say Trollstigen (was there in August 2008), but also Stelvio looks amazing. |

I'm no cyclist myself, but have a fascination with big mountains. So instead of using a bike, I drive. I had originally planned a trip to the alps this summer, but bought an apartment instead. But I'm definitively going to the Alps at a later point. |

Trollstigen is on my to-do-list, and I might even go there this summer.

My favourite climb is the Albula, small roads, beautiful varied landscape, almost no traffic, not to steep so you can easily roll up there.

I remember that Top Gear group was searching for the greatest road in the world and most of the roads they rode were through climbs. If I remember well they rode Stelvio too. But in the end the greatest road was some climb in Romania(which had very, very hard name).

If anyone's ever near Lake Placid I recommend Whiteface Mountain. 8km with an average of 8% and steepest section of 12%. Not to mention a stunning view all the way up.

Don't have a picture of the road, but heres the view of the mountain(road climb is from the North side).

I have yet to experience any of the classic climbs in mainland Europe, but my favourite/most feared climb in England is Hardnott Pass, which is 30% in places.[img][/img]

Alpe d'Huez's scenery isn't that great, you can see Bourg d'Oisans in the Valley, but that's about it.
La Croix de Fer (from Bourg d'Oisans) has a much more gorgeous scenery.
I don't have one favourite climb, actually. I don't know so many of them with a precise idea, so my opinion wouldn't make much sense. I'll let that to PCM's stage makers. |
