When starting new career old managers details still showing

Whenever I start a new career now I go to career in single player my details still show up. Then I continue with the game my old team doesn't show up at all then when I go to do the races it just skips them only the start of next season lets me use the team.

any ideas how to fix this problem its really bugging me.
