Amstel Gold Race 2011
haasje33
Since there still isn't a topic about Sunday's race, I'll post it.

The absolute Dutch classic is coming up next Sunday in the UCI WorldTour.

A great peloton will start in Maastricht, with Cancellara in top form, but also with riders which we'll see later this year in the Tour like Samuel Sanchez, Robert Gesink, Rinaldo Nocentini and Danilo Di Luca. Cadel Evans isn't able to start due to an injury.

At a length of 260,4 km, the race will end in Valkenburg on top of the Cauberg. With the Eyserbosweg and the Keutenberg it'll be most likely a race for the attackers. For a flat country like Holland, quite a hilly race.

Last year's winner Gilbert will do everything to maintain his title, but there is some strong competition he has to deal with!
