Fresh from the announcement of 19 ProTour teams, the UCI is today prepared to announce 19 ProContinental teams for next season. Unlike the Continental teams, which have yet to be announced, ProContinental teams received full continental privileges - most notably that they are able to apply for Wildcards for Grand Tours and Monuments.
Cerne return to the division, having promoted 2 seasons ago as Energie-Diesel, while the likes of Cal Giant and Rapha Condor are now notching up their 5th straight season in the division.
The ultimate aim of all teams is of course to promote, but just who is going to manage it this time around?
| Bimbo Nutella | POR | | California Giant Berry Farms-Specialized | USA | | Cerne | POR | | Focused Cycling | FRA | | Hollister Pro Cycling | USA | | Jayco-Red Bull | AUS | | Pirelli-Alfa Romeo | ITA | | Pokerstars.com | BEL | | Rapha Condor - Qhubeka | GBR | | Saab - Scania | SWD | | T.CS Bank - OJSC Rosneft | RUS | | Team Bianchi | GER | | Team Emu Export | AUS | | Team Waghlon | BEL | | Team WWE | USA | | UniCredit | ITA | | Vespa - Aprilia - De Rosa | ITA | | VolksWagen-Siemens Cycling | GER |
Note: Team Bianchi are guaranteed a ProContinental license, but may become ProTour pending Domina Vacanze. El Al are absent, as I can only assume Deadpool's most recent post implies that he no longer wants a part of the game.

Hopefully we get Deadpool back...
On the subject of divisions, is there set to be an expansion of the game? Or are all 3 divisions set to be about the same size?
Also do i get a seniority bonus? or is it more of a seniority fine

Continental Division = ProContinental + Continental
Where ProContinental are teams who have been around more than 1 season, and Continental are teams who are new
Its just coincidence that for now, theres 19 PT and 19 PC

So is it solely a name, is there no advantage over CT teams? |

Sounds like the PCT teams get the best wildcards.

Volkswagen-Siemens Cycling, the next great German team! T-mobile/Telekom, who's that?

It is interesting to get at least one team relegated from the protour with the aim of getting back up.
Waghlon struggled with the transition - in terms of getting success, I think your team Gustav the question to begin with is LL Sanchez or not LL Sanchez
It is hard to look past rjc and SN's teams at this early stage for a high position, I am fascinated what rjc does with his team - will it be a Tour de France/Paris Nice wild card grabber for example? In terms of very early promotion predos, the teams who just missed out last year were the ones who stepped up this year. So pressure on Bimbo Nutella, Pokerstars, TCS and Red Bull then!

Getting top 15 is going to be a mission. |

I have decided to have higher goals than last year, so getting top 10 will be a mission this year. (I decided when I started to have my goals get gradually tougher, so top 15 last year, top 10 this year, then promotion/top 5)

Will be interesting to see if I can close the gap to the possible favourites you mentioned Smowz, during the upcoming transfer season. This will hopefully give me the possibility to participate in some protour races, especially the Italian ones!

With Santander promoting it's interesting to note there are no longer any Spanish teams in there.
Plenty of Spanish races remaining though - so, someone like LL Sanchez will be very useful.
Oh, and Vespa - Aprilia - De Rosa Racing for the Giro!!! |

On both counts I doubt it. I intend to take a more fun race schedule, and I know rjc's team isnt going to be going down that route.

If I go top 10 team rankings, I've done something seriously wrong. Well, actually, I won't have, but the amount of teams I've beaten to the Top 10 will have. |
