National Events?

Hey,

is it possible to add a new category, something like the National Events-category, to the game? A category beyond Class 2.2-races.. and is it possible, to make teams of only one country participate at those races?

I think those races can only go in as .2 races - the game doesnt like having more categories. You can try to do the settings so only teams from one country participate - but PCM wont always follow that.

I try for the excya pack to add a new category (NE) but I can't launch a career.

But the pcmdaily-DB has a new category 1.2 (or 2.2) which is not available in the original DB. What is with that?

The .2 category is there from the beginning - it's just not activated per default.

I haven't tried adding the NE category in PCM10, but I remember that it created some problems in previous games. It should be possible in theory, though, but remember to add the points in STA_bonus_UCI and the category in STA_UCI_class.

However, as Mr. Coach says, it may not be that simple.

Exactly, in theory you have to modify STA_UCI_Class, STA_UCI_Class_Filter, STA_Bonus_UCI and STA_Bonus_superprestige.

You also have to modify STA_TGA (for the picto) and STA_Localized_String in the local.cdb
