So, the season is over except for the national championships. But we know where we ended and that is the most important thing. I must say, i enjoyed this season a lot, and i'm certainly looking forward for more. A big thanks to SN, as the amount of work he puts in to this is just unbelievable. Also to the reporters and of course the participants as well for taking part actively.
Now, how did you experience you first season? What was your best moment, and what your worst? Which rider on your squad didn't deliver or which rider over performed? And of course anything else you want to add.
I'll start with this:
Best moment(s): Last stage of Trentino. The way Ricco did it was just awesome. Channel Islands Kocjan and Pacheco surprising everyone, and in the end this gave us 5th in the rankings.
Worst moment: Ricco's non-selection. Time has passed, but i'm still highly annoyed by this, and probably still will for sometime.

Well, of course a monumental thanks to SN and a thankyou to all the ManGame reporters and a little bit of a heads up to all the enthusiastic players
Best Moments: Tough call - too many in such a momentous season to choose just one. Firstly, the massive points haul from the TDU that really set up the promotion. Gilbert's repeat win in Philly. And the general realisation that we were going up.
Worst moments: My own cock-ups in the transfer season. One mistake cost me Jerome Pineau while another cost me Graham Briggs. Pissed off at myself for those but not that important in the grand scheme of things.
All in all a brilliant season that can only be surpassed by the next. |

I also would like to thank SN, he makes the man game nad this season had been awesome.
My season was mixed, the best moments were the whole Vuelta also Burgos, which reignited my promotion campaign and Herald sun tour, because ortega was awesome.
Worst bits were Ventoso's poor performances and Abal's inconsistency. Overall though, I got promoted so all is good, and with Madrazo and Tenorio coming back, next season promises to be a great one.

Well I guess all can review their season, not just noobies
Obviously was a fairly big first season this year for me going from clueless noob to two time GT Man Game reporter in one jump!
Okay Red Bull.
Highlights: Japan and Down Under. Siutsou was not even originally down to race Japan and Arashiro was not even meant to be my main sprinter in the TDU. Often my best results were unplanned.
Lowlights: Mid season lull when I though Man Game would die. Best not dwell on that though coz now it is back to full strength hopefully. America was my 15 stage wins in a season killer, I got 11 wins in total in stages. America had 21 stages, five teams I should have had a shot at getting the four I needed there. Then again I think you can see in my highlights I had my fair share of luck too.
Best squad member: Whilst Arashiro, Siutsou and to a certain extent Augustyn delivered at the top end and I liked the work of Aussies Adam Hansen and CJ Sutton and Adil Jelloul worked hard all year. It was Roman Kilun's battling performance at Chihuahua that impressed me the most. Those sorts of nuggetty results are the kind a team will need that is chasing promotion next year!
Worst squad member: Julian Rodas, rode like a sulking bitch in Columbia seemed to be one of those riders who wanted to be absolute leader. Edwin Parra Bustamante should have ridden better at times, but did tend to battle on a bit more. I misread how useful I thought sprinters in stage races would be so I will not be too critical of Haider or Manarelli, but I would have thought either could have grabbed more than one stage win between them.

Thanks to everyone at the Man Game! (the "Admins", the helpers and the players)
Best moment:
- Monfort winning the Tour Medierreananaeeren..
Worst moments:
- Ciolek again just.. Although he won the Dome2Dome Cycling Challenge
- I made mistakes and that cost the promotion
Although the team performed from 23rd to 10th position from the 1st to the 2nd season it's disappointing
2012 must be the season with a Top 5 position

first of all, it was great fun to be part of Man-Game, big thank to all guys involved!
best moment: hard to say, I enjoyed all stage victories made by my sprinters (Mohs, Guillén...) or fighters (Ingels, Van Impe...). Plus I´m still waiting for success from Crit Series Championship!
worst moment: definitely terrible performance during Franco-Belge when I lost 2 season goals (TOP10 there and TOP10 rankings) - I think one podium places in single stage there and my season would finish with huge success
-------
OT: I´m afraid of my renewals, going to Kazachstan within several days for 2 weeks with (probably) very limited access to internet...

And now I know, theres no need to worry!
You may need a little catchup when you get back, but there is no way that transfers will have started in the next 2 weeks, and last year there were 1 or 2 teams whose renewals werent completed until after the transfers began.
And since I know you wont have randomly dissapeared, youll be fine.

First of all will I want to thank SN and the reporters by making this game such a great experience!
The season has been long, but even though we weren't even close to finish in top 10 (goal) then it's been a fine start.
Best moment: Loddo domination in Faso - never expected that but Bernucci's second in Japan + Serpa's fine performances are closely after.
Worst moment: Missing the win trentino goal on the final stage to a terrible Ricco... Damn that hurt! Serpa's breakdown in Austria is also something I want to forget..
Really looking forward to new season - new sponsors and possible new riders.. it's going to be interesting!

Amazing.
Also, besides the podiums, i do get a thrill from getting my team-name in previous winners. I'm 11 times on that list, which makes me very happy. Only outscored by Ikea by 14.

My surprising lack of wins for a team in 4th place, especially a team I thought was dominated by just Gilbert and JVH.
You do an amzing amount of work - and it's these little/additional things that make it great. |

I don't think I can bring myself to think back and review the season. The wins we got and the wins we didn't were equally perplexing.
Big thanks to all involved in running the game this year. |

So a season around where I expected, hoped a bit higher but didn't expect too much. A season to learn the game
Best moments:
The suprise wins by Bøchman and Sabatini (Cape Argus and Air Force Cycling Classic), and Kessiakoff/Florencio in Tour De Beauce. Lots of fun that
Worst moments:
Missed goals, Rohregger doing bad in Austria. And all the mistakes I made in where I sent me riders :-p
Best rider of the season:
Gotta say Kessiakoff, he's been up and down but was the "poster boy" of the team and did well imo
Worst rider of the season:
Greame Brown, hands down. I hate him! :-p

I'm next in a row who has to give a big thank to SN, but yeah, he totally deserves it. A big applause for SN, please!
Then I would like to thank to rjc too and also to to the reporters and finally to the all managers and people who are involved in this great game!
Anyway I had absolutely amazing season. Before this season I had one of the goals: Top 10 Overall Results in Team Standings.. I can't belive I accomplished this goal! I hoped for some lucky place about 12th to 15th place but 6th place? Plus I completed 4/5 of my goals. Just great, such a great season!
Best moments:
- Hushovd winning De Panne Tour
- Efimkin winning overall in Luxembourg
- Hushovd and Dall'Antonia gave me 1-2 in Tour of Denmark
- Szczawinski takes one of the Canadian classics
Worst moments:
- Start to the season, I thought this season will be as same as the season 2010
Best rider of the season:
I have to say - I am in the PT thank to the 2 guys ...
- Alex Efimkin: I'm glad I trained him up before this season from 79 to 80 in hills, I think it was a great decision now, he gave me much better results than in my "Kenda season".
- Thor Hushovd: I'm glad I made the crazy transfer with SotD - Bewley's loan for Hushovd free. Hushovd had bad results in the cobble season (but I have to say, he isn't such a good man on cobblestones) but then, he won last of them and gained for me a massive package of points in the race of dreams in Denmark. And Bewley raced quite strongly for SotD, I think he is satisfied after all too. Originally, I wanted to go for the promotion in 2012, but I have maxed out Bewley now and I'm in PT as well.
Worst rider of the season:
Said Haddou and Ruslan Grychenko, they're only my guys who scored no points for me.

Best rider must be Veilleux or some of the other young riders. Very offensive riding. Pineau got the most of it, with a stage win from break late in the season.
