Circuit Franco-Belge Stage 2
mb2612

Pan flat, this stage gives some of the sprinters a much better shot of winning a stage and jumping up the overall. 100% have two three star favourites today, will Swift be happy to lead oyut Cavendish? Vantomme is the other rider to watch out for, as his home turf makes him very dangerous
i1184.photobucket.com/albums/z334/mb1226/franco%20belge/PCM0002.jpg

Again, a break forms immediately, if theese guys can hang onto the peleton, then the sprints bonus seconds would give them a top ten

Telenor clearly have that exact strategy in mind as today it's Te Brake ahead of Kunitski and Brandle at the first sprint, Tankink and Lalouette are also in the break
i1184.photobucket.com/albums/z334/mb1226/franco%20belge/PCM0027.jpg

We have the same 1-2 at the second prime, this time Lalouette gets third though
i1184.photobucket.com/albums/z334/mb1226/franco%20belge/PCM0028.jpg

And Te Brake makes it 6 intermediate sprints out of 6 for Telenor, Tankink and Brandle get the other two spots
i1184.photobucket.com/albums/z334/mb1226/franco%20belge/PCM0029.jpg

16km to go and the break is back in the peleton
i1184.photobucket.com/albums/z334/mb1226/franco%20belge/PCM0030.jpg

5km to go and Ciolek and Van Heerden are well placed, the others are all waiting to decide where to position themselves
i1184.photobucket.com/albums/z334/mb1226/franco%20belge/PCM0031.jpg

3km to go and we have 4 chains (from left to right):
i1184.photobucket.com/albums/z334/mb1226/franco%20belge/PCM0032.jpg

Sinner, Abdullah, Hochmann, Cavendish, Swift, Borrajo, Haedo. Thats right Cavendish is leading Swift out,

Ladagnous has Van Heerden, Rowe and Nazon on his wheel

Then we have Forero, followed by Vanderaerden, Goss and Brown

Finally, on the far right Rodochala leads Ciolek, Mohs and Borghesi

As the sprint starts about 20 real sprinters have a shot at winning
i1184.photobucket.com/albums/z334/mb1226/franco%20belge/PCM0033.jpg

2km to go and Forero is strongest so far moving into the lead, Van Heerden is making his move
i1184.photobucket.com/albums/z334/mb1226/franco%20belge/PCM0034.jpg

And Van Heerden now hits the front, Rowe is in his wheel with Vantomme also using the slipstream
i1184.photobucket.com/albums/z334/mb1226/franco%20belge/PCM0035.jpg

and Van Heerden is awesome today, it's between the three of them now
i1184.photobucket.com/albums/z334/mb1226/franco%20belge/PCM0036.jpg

1km to go and Rowe tries to come round
i1184.photobucket.com/albums/z334/mb1226/franco%20belge/PCM0037.jpg

They are neck and neck with the line approaching
i1184.photobucket.com/albums/z334/mb1226/franco%20belge/PCM0038.jpg

On the line and it's Rowe who gets it. He wasn't quickest today but Van Heerden committed way to early, Vantomme holds on for third
i1184.photobucket.com/albums/z334/mb1226/franco%20belge/PCM0039.jpg

Goss manages to come back for 4th ahead of the Milka pair
i1184.photobucket.com/albums/z334/mb1226/franco%20belge/PCM0040.jpg

It's not all bad news for Van Heerden, as he takes yellow, which can only inspire him to be faster, worrying for all his rivals
