We are in Belgium getting set for the first stage of the Circuit Franco-Belge and boy do we have a strong line up today, Rowe, Swift and Vantomme are the 3 big favourites, however with bonus seconds likely to be vital to this tours outcome, expect serious challenges from Cavendish, Van Heerden, Ciolek, Goss, Greipel, Mohs, Casper and the list continues.

Also up for grabs today is the only KoM sprint of the tour, so whoever can get there first nets a cool 32 points for their team. The break should be hotly contested

Seidler easily takes the first sprint ahead of Kennaugh and Weiss

In the peleton Swift punctures, however he soon gets back

Again Seidler is too quick at the sprint, this time Bagdonas gets second, with Kennaugh third

It's tighter this time, but Seidler makes it 3 out of 3, Bagdonas and Weiss get the next to places

9km till the KoM sprint, and with the peleton 80 seconds behind Seidler attacks, Wei and Kennaugh following

As the road kicks up Weiss is leading Bagdonas

9km to go and the sprinters start to move forwards, Milka are on the left for Vanderaerden, Mercedes and Pendelton's are working for Haedo and Van Heerden respectively

with 5km left to ride Pendelton's seem strongest, while Goss Ciolek and Swift are backing Mercedes to pull them back

3.5km to go and the other chains have faded, Brown and Cavendish have joined Van Heerden's wheel

However the next 500m are a step to far for Ladagnous, meaning Van Heerden starts the sprint from way back, and Cav immediately comes round him, up front Gajek is well placed

1500m left and Kuchinski is leading from Bole and Gajek, Cavendish is coming like freight train down the right

Van Heerden waited for a while before sprinting, but he also cruised past everyone for second, Bole held on for third ahead of Vanderaerden, with Florencio taking 5th
