How would you build for the Vuelta?

Hi.

I'm in a career with Sparebanken Vest - Ridley and have the original squad + a created rider (bit overpowered with avg. 80, but it's just for fun) and a few new signings around avg. 75-76. Since I'm still a Continental Team I will be looking for a wild card for the Vuelta. My created rider should be good enough to be in the top 5 in several stages, maybe even get a stage win or two.

Anyhoo, the reason I chose the Vuelta is because most of my sponsor goals take place from mid/end August and to the end of the season. None of them colide with the Vuelta so I thought it might be a good idea to possibly rack up some points in the CQ ranking.

How would you try to build for it? Which races would you try to participate in and so on?

have all of your riders peaking at in the second week.
ride a longer stage race such as eneco to prepare. it's what i usually do
