Breakaway sprint issue

i've noticed that when breakaway riders sprint for victory the one that starts in pole position always wins. Do you have the same issue?

Is it possible that you play with patch 1.0.4.2?
There the sprinters can`t pass the lead out. Just by hanging on other trains you can reach this. But in breakaways there is just one train.

If so then install 1.0.4.1 from 1.0.0.0 over it and it might work.
Because I can also win from the 2nd or 3rd.
