Hello everyone,
I have a problem with extracting files of PCM daily's expansion pack V2.
I've downloaded it with utorrent, but when I extract Programfiles.7z it says that lots of files (about 800?!) are damaged. Actually they are, because they're all 0 KB. Why? Did I do something wrong? What should I do now?
Thank you in advance.

try to drag the file to the location that you want them to be. for me that solved the problem.

Thank you for the answer. I tried, but it still doesn't work. I've re-downloaded and retried, but nothing.
Actually, I'm a bit disappointed by this year's expansion pack, and not only for that. It's a pity, because it used to be the best...

You're disappointed with something you've never used?

If re-downloading it doesn't work, there's nothing that we can do to help you.

Sorry, I was a bit frustrated after a day spent with that, without any solution and with the computer that stopped himself every minute.
However last year, I remember, the pack was self-installing: I think it's better than that.
I'm going to try some other solutions, like extracting it from another computer. Sorry again ;-)

I agree that self-installing packages are a better way of installing DBs. The problem, however, is that the program that I use for making the packages can't handle sizes above 2 GB. For PCM09, that was more than enough. For PCM10? Huge problem, because each stage file is now ~5 MB - in comparison, PCM09 stage files the files were usually between 10 and 100 KB.

I'll be looking into other options when making the full 2011 DB, but I doubt it'll be much easier than the current way of installing.

Anyway, in your case: What I'm confused about is that the files are "damaged". For downloads through a server, this can happen when you don't use a file manager. However, you've downloaded it through a torrent program, so there shouldn't be any problems here.

Did you try to extract the files to a folder on your desktop? If that works, you can move the files manually to the correct folder afterwards.

I understand.

I also tried to extract them to a folder on the desktop. The problem is that, when I try to extract a file, like a stage .zces, the program ( both winrar and 7z) says that there are some other files, not the one I'm working with, that are damaged. When I check the file, it is 0 KB, and I don't know why, because it isn't damaged, according to the program...

However, maybe I've solved the problem. I have a question for you: if I install:

-PCM daily expansion pack
-PCM daily for 1.0.3.0
-PCM daily V2 from 1.0.3.0

that are all self-installing, is that the same as installing the Full Package? If yes, which patch do I need to install?
As you certainly understand, it's difficult to me to stay without PCM daily pack Smile

Thank you very much.

If you play singleplayer then patch 1.0.4.1 and don`t auto update. You can avoid this by using the PCM.exe in the game folder instead of the autorun.
For online games you need 1.0.4.2, where the sprints doesn`T really work.

The single files are also working, just step by step.

Thank you. I'll try this solution.
