Can't change fitness schedules

After I have changes someones fitiness schedule and exit out of the game I go back into my save and the fitiness schedules are the same they were before I changed them. It always does this no matter what fitness schedule I try to change it to.

Have you advanced a day after changing the schudules, or simulated a race?

I tried advancing a day after I changed them and they stayed the same after I exited and entered. Thanks for the help.
