The game runs smoothly, but after a while, starts to jam
legio
Hello everyone,

The configuration of my PC is as follows:

Intel Pentium D CPU 2.80 GHz (2 Processors)

4.00 GB RAM

Graphics Card NVIDIA GeForce 8600 GT

My motherboard is an ASUS P5LD2 Deluxe

Windows 7 to 64 Bits

When I start playing the game runs smoothly, but after a while, starts to jam, then back to normal, back to jam again and so on.

The settings I have in the game, are all with option 1, except that the textures with option 2.

I can not put higher settings because the game starts just sobbing.

Does the graphics card is weak to play the PCM 2010?

Someone could help me in this?

P. S. It was the same with OS Windows XP Sp2.

I have all patches installed

Thank you.

If you've enabled shadows (sounds like it), try disabling them. They take up a lot of ressources.

You could also disable the recording of the replay if you don't need it.

Hi Lachi,

Thanks for the reply.

How can I disable it?

Sorry to ask, but I'm a beginner, only know how to play forward.

Hello CrueTrue,

I've done it and really the game was much faster.

But without shadows, the game seems to lack reality.

Is there another type of graphics card, with which I can play with more active settings?

Thanks for the reply

There are plenty of graphic cards which are a lot better than the one that you have. I don't know what your budget is, though, and that's quite essential when it comes to buying graphic cards.
