Saw the poll on cyclingtorrents, and wonder what you think.
Mine if the one to Montalcino in the Giro, might have been hell for the riders, but it was great to watch.
Edit: Second one Zoncolan, third one Bola del Mundo.

maybe because it's fresher in the mind, but I've gone for the Bole del Mundo because it decided the race

Montalcino then Arenburg then Bola de Mundo. Though I have to say L'Aquila was a very good one as well as it was pretty much high tension through most of the race. |

Montalcino > Arenburg > Bola del Mundo
Let's hope Green Edge doesn't fail like Pegasus!

I loved the stage to Valdepeñas de Jaén.
Second must be Montalcino and third Bola del Mundo.

I already knew after the Montalcino stage, that there won`t be a more spectacular stage in a GT this year
This stage was absolutely epic.
Liquigas - Crash - How much time they`ll lose - Evans, Vino - Scarponi with a great solo rider back to the front ... |

Montalcino was the best. But the stages to Aprica and to L'Aquila come close. Who can forget Arroyo's crazy descent of the Mortirolo, or the favourites relaying in the peloton in a not mountain stage with several kms to go? The Giro was awesome. |

Picking only one favorite stage from an EPIC race is sort of like choosing which child you love the most..
If offense is the best defence, does it mean that defence is the worst defence?

Definately the Montalcino, or however it's spelled, that stage was epic

I hate to admit this, but I've never seen the Montalcino stage - I wasn't at home and never got around to download it when I got home.
So, I voted for the 40-man break stage, simply because it was too weird and had a huge influence on the race. |

I voted Arenburg. I think that was the best Tour stage, and I only saw Montalcino in June after I downloaded the stage, or else I probably would have voted for it. Its just not the same when its a month late imo. You have to see the stage live.

Didn't watch Giro, so I can't say. From what I did see, Arenberg had the most action. Shleck falling, Cancellara pulling, Radioshack followed, Contador falling behind with Vino pulling him, than Armstrong puncture and Contador ahead of him all of a sudden... Lots of other riders struggling to keep in touch with the front or loosing as little time as possible. |

Montalcino was the best, followed by the Zoncolan and the TdF cobbled stage, IMO. |
