pcmdaily database v2 causes crash

So i downloaded the new pcmdaily V2 expansion and installed it and everything works fine using the old pcmdaily database or one of my custom ones, but using either 2009 or 2010 championdatabaseV2 causes the game to crash as soon as i click "stage" , "stage race" etc
Anyway hoped someone could help

I'm also having this problem. I installed the patch, deleted the savegames and started a new career, but as soon as I reach 6-jan and it wants to simulate the first race of the calendar (i'm not participating in this race) the program chrashes. Anybody any ideaabout this?

Not exactly the same problem.
Yours is simply a matter of you having installed it to the wrong folder. Make sure that you're installing the DB to the game folder. |

this happens to me when i use a custom db based on pcm daily with the game without the pcmdaily patches.
I dont know if you are following... i have only official cyanide patches and try to play it using only the custom/pcmdaily cdb file.

Ok, so just bought the game and downloaded all of patches and the expansion packs, had a few issues unzipping initially, but all seemed to be ok.
I've 2 problems - 1) listed above (i've got no saved games) and 2) Riders on invisible bikes with invisble helmets. I figure this must be quite easy to solve.
Can you clarify where the DB should go I was under the impression it should go into "My Documents/Pro Cycling Manager 2010"
Any help would be much appreciated. |

To expand I've downloaded patch 1.0.4.2 (Did I need to download any previous patches first), Then the PCM Expansion Pack V2. Then the V2 to V2.1. All unzipped using Winrar as per text file on pack V2.
The only error I'm getting when unzipping is
! C:\Users\Tony\Downloads\PCMdailyExpansionPackV2.7z: Cannot open ProgramFiles.7z
in the Winrar diagnostics box, what does this mean?

This is what you need:
The game
Go buy it if you haven't yet
The patch
For single player patch 1.0.4.1 is recommended: https://www.pcmdai...hp?did=763
For multiplayer you need 1.0.4.2: https://www.pcmdai...hp?did=772
The DB
Full pack https://www.pcmdai...hp?did=767
The patch https://www.pcmdai...hp?did=768
Now install it like this
1 - Game
2 - Patch
3 - DB full pack
4 - DB patch
You should unpack both the DB full pack and the DB patch into a separate folder anywhere on your computer (the desktop is OK).
There are instructions how to install the pack, the instruction can be found after you unpacked them (ReadMe.txt in either folder)

Ok, so all seemed to work a lot better this time apart from still having invisible bikes and helmets.
And I know this is a stupid question but am I right uinzippning the My Documents file into -
My Documents/Pro Cyling Manager 2010 |
