Can't load my career mode - keeps skipping days

Hi I recently downloaded the PCM 2010 game and after I play a few races I go to the home screen and then quit the game. However the next time that I go back into the game and reload my career it won't let me race at all! All that it does is say "training...turn day" and no races are able to be raced! It is exactly what was happening in this link: https://www.cyanid...&t=398 . I tried exactly what what "lachi" said to do by backing up my database but still no use. Please, can someone help me find a solution to this or has anyone had the same problem and was able to fix it??? |

It happened to some users of PCM09 (and PCM08 as far as I recall), but I'm still yet to see a fix by Cyanide.
You're pretty screwed, I guess.
You could try the WeeklySaves (My Docs/PCM/Database/WeeklySave). Move one from when it worked to My Docs/PCM/Database/Solo/DB_Name and load it in-game. |

Thanks for the fast reply. Do you mean that I should carry on backing up my database like I am at the moment as well as do the WeeklySave backup? Also is the way that I am currently backing up the database the correct way? cheers |

I'm saying that you should try to load one of the WeeklySaves when your normal save fails. |

Ok I have tried and tried again to load the WeeklySaves when the normal save fails but its no hope. Guess i'm just going to have to deal with losing my career every time that I play |

OK, this issue seems to have stopped now that I backup my database basically every day in my career. However now for some reason the application will suddenly go, "Pro Cycling Manager has stopped working" and is followed by "PCM has closed". But when I go back into the race I cant play my game and the previous issue that I had starts back up again. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks  |

if the game crashes during the race (3D mode), then you have to lower the graphic options. |

Awesome, thanks for that, seems to be working well now, I have decreased the graphics options and disabled the replays. Cheers for the help |
