strugling with Liquigas

Hey there guys..

Im running a Save with Liqiugas..

and im not sure what kind of races outside PRO Tour races i have to take part in..

Also would it be stupid to go for the TDF or?

Im thinking of going for the Giro, and try to win it..

Also, what kind of Fitness program should i choose for my best GC Riders?
Like Kreuziger, Nibali, Basso, Bennati etc. ??

Well in my season with Liqui I used similar schedule for GC riders as in real life. So Basso and Nibali for Giro, where Basso won it and Nibali came 4th in my game, Basso and Kreuziger for TdF - Kreuziger finished 5th overall, Basso about 20th place, but won a stage, and for Vuelta Nibali and Kreuziger, where Kreuziger is perfect team mate for Nibali, so Nibali can win Smile
I took part only in 5 or 6 non-protour races, as i was focusing on pro tour, but because you are in italian team, choose some italian races, some of them are pretty easy to win. Smile

1)if you want a sprint ride then flat races.
if you want to ride with a climber then high mountain stages.
2)if you dont have it on your goal list and you think you wont get a good result then dont go.other then that go.
3)that dipands:make sure you reach the riders peak at the race they need to win(just the most important one of them).

Funnily enough I'm thinking of trying Liquigas once the final PCM expansion is released, and I spent some time yesterday thinking about what races I want my riders to do. I've attached a spreadsheet showing where I've got to so far with the planning. Its not complete but its got the main races marked. Hope its of some use........

since liquigas is one of the best teams, with also a lot of young riders i ride a lot of races.
almost all italian races and some others, like Tour of Qatar and Tour of California
