Hey there..

Is it normal (a bug), that in PCM 10, there is noone and i mean noone who is going for the sprints in the stages..

I know people have talked about it in the Cyanide thread (on this forum).
But is it really noone going for them.

It is both for KOH and Sprint points...

Have u guys seen a team/rider do it?

It is very rare to see, however i just started the tour de murcia (or whatever its called Pfft) and was suprised to see 4-5 riders go for KoM points and about 10 go for the sprints, so i really have no idea why they are going for them on this race and yet not the others

My experience is this:
Riders in a break away will never sprint for sprint points but might go for mountain points if they already have won some in a previous stage. So basically they only sprint if they see a chance to win the jersey.

If the peloton is together, the sprinters will go for the intermediate or final sprint and the climbers will attack to get some mountain points.
The sprinters are mostly unlucky in intermediate sprints due to the AI failures though. The speed of the peloton is too slow without the sprint trains so some rider will attack for sure, even if only 5 km away from the sprint, which would never happen in a real race.
But if you never have seen an attack before one of the later mountain sprints, then you must be blind.
