One thing I find funny is that, since most people get their information from english sites and Valverde doesn't speak english, most people only read Valverde's words when he's denying doping.
The result is he tends to be disliked. Make no mistake, he's the nicest guy in the sport. And I mean that literally.
(He's still a doper who needs to never come back, though)
Other than that, and the lying jackass who keeps lying and cheating teammates, staff, etc and never regrets it (Vinokourov), I agree with your list
(Although Ullrich is mostly a nice guy)

Riis and Kohl likeable? In what alternative universe?
And Ricco might not be likeable, but he's awesome.

Everybody of them maybe the nicest guy in the univers, but they are all dopers that should never return to the sport.

Those who confessed what they did wrong, helped investigators, and don't seem to be doping any more are more likeable than the others (not as much as clean riders though).
The other ones, well, let's remain polite. |

Schumacher unlikeable? What? I like Millar though. And then there's the whole Rasmussen of did he didn't he. But we'll leave that for another time and place. |

The term likeable is a completely subjective one, so you can't say other's list is right or wrong. The most likeable for me would definitely be Piti, hadn't he that Murcian accent. |

Hard to say who's likeable and who's not in general, but personal for me it's Basso and Petacchi.

There also seems to be a misconception that Millar turned himself in of his own free will to clear his conscience. He didn't. A scandal broke with the Cofidis team being investigated. Millar denied everything for a very long time.....until the evidence was too much to continue the farce and he confessed....this was after he'd been interrogated by the police and shown the mountain of evidence against him.
Also, his constant feigning shock every time an obvious doper is caught and generally asking people to "stop talking about doping" grates. A lot.
