Quick question here. Am I correct in assuming the default 'OfficialRelease' DB that I find in C/.../Database is updated in the 1.0.3.0 patch so as to contain the stat updates/changes made in the accumulated patches?

I ask since I'm having lots of crash-to-desktop problems with the PCM Daily expansion and an edited DB so I need a new/clean but compatible starting point for creating my DB.

Just in case I have to start over from scratch, and if I can't complete your suggested edits to remove the PCM expansion pack graphics from the DB file, can you recommend another DB file that's .cdb only, with real names and updates stats on riders and compatible with 1.0.3.0?

I'd like to avoid taking the default DB and having to correct the real rider names AND edit all the stats for gameplay balance and then build my custom DB from that. I'm too old for something that takes so long. Wink

Thanks for any insight you may offer.

I'd suggest that you download this one:

Copy DYN_cyclist, DYN_team and STA_race from it to the OfficialRelease of the 1.0.3.0.

That way, you will have the real names for riders, teams and races and nothing else - a good base Smile

Well, that works for step 1 at least. I managed to pull an up to date, 1.0.3.0 compatible DB with correct team and cyclist names from those two. Thanks again.

Now for re-editing 20 teams and many riders. Ugh!
