Compatibility of PCM Dashboard with Windows 7

For some reason I cannot get PCM Dashboard V1.1 to work. It seems to install ok, but when I try to launch the program I get a message "PCM Dashboard has stopped working" and the program never actually launches. It's strange because I installed it a few months ago on an older machine (running windows xp) with no problems. The only possible cause I can think of is that the newer machine runs on windows 7.

Does anybody know if Dashboard is compatible with windows 7? I remember reading that people had trouble running it on vista and read in the manual that this could be solved by clicking "run as an administrator" in the program's properties panel. I also gave this a try but it still didn't work.

By the way, I made sure to update .net framework before downloading and made sure to download Dashboard using flashget as recommended on the download page, so I don't think any of these are the problem.

One other thought I had was that maybe it needs to be installed in a specific location, but I have tried installing it in all the obvious places, still with the same result.

So if anyone has any ideas on how to solve this problem, I'd be very grateful. It would also be helpful if anyone with windows 7 could let me know if the program works for them.

Alternatively, maybe somebody could suggest another basic save game editor which can be used with both PCM07 and windows 7 and isn't too complicated to use. I only need it to change very basic things like morale etc.

Jape, the creator of the program, has also made a Startlist Maker which I know for sure isn't compatible with Windows 7.

I don't know about the Dashboard. When I used it, I used XP. I wouldn't be surprised, though, if it wasn't compatible with W7.

I can't get PCM Dashboard to even run in Windows 7. Any other way to edit fitness in save games on PCM 07 that might work with Windows 7?
