Hi there,
I am experiencing a very annoying bug whenever I try to play a career. Everything seems fine at first, but whenever I exit the game and then load my save again, the game jumps forwards 1 day. This completely disrupts the whole shebang and it is then impossible for me to take part in any races.
Eg: I start a career and get to the seventh of january, which is the date of the Australian TT Championships. I then decide to take a break so I quit the game (without playing or simulating the race). When I load my save again, the game jumps to the 8th of january; but the Australian Championships haven't been simulated!! Then whenever there's supposed to be a race it is simply impossible to play it and it is not simulated either.
Something else I have noticed is that the dates on the calendar and those on the bar at the bottom don't match: eg the Australian TT championshis is on the 7th of January in the calendar, but on the 6th on the bar (see picture)
I have a dvd version of the game (as opposed to a game bought online) and am running windows 7 64bits.
My computer is recent and I'm pretty sure should normally run the game just fine.
I have installed the PCM daily expansion pack but I had this prolem when I had the MAX Db installed too.

It does it with the original db as well (i have just uninstalled the game completely, re-installed it along with the latest patch). |

I think it might be though the problem is not described in enough detail for me to be sure it is the same as mine. |

I didn't find a solution in the link you posted, CrueTrue. Any suggestions as to what I should do? I'm starting to get really angry at Cyanide for selling me a game that doesn't work , because on top of that most irritating bug the game crashes all the time making it really hard to play! |

Well, if the problem is indeed the same as described in the thread I linked to, you're in serious trouble (or Cyanide is for not fixing the problem). Try contacting |

I do possess another computer I could install the game on, the problem being that it is a netbook and doesn't have a dvd drive. I can install the game by sharing my desktop computer's drive but then the disc verification won't work... (stupid starforce!) Do you know of a way I can make it work? |

Certainly not with a DVD-emulator, given as that leads to a BSOD. |

I just installed the game on another pc of mine, also running windows 7 (64bits).
I get the exact same bug! I can't possibly be the only person to get this bug, on two different computers! How come nobody else is posting about it? |

I have read about a similar bug, but it is a very rare bug. It must be something about your computer settings, maybe your country settings. But you have to notify Cyanide about your problem, we cannot help you any further. |
