Unable to start game!

Hi,
Just bought the disc version of PCM10, but as always with PCM i have a problem:
I installed the game as usual and everything was fine. But when i tried to load the game it, errrrhhhhmmmm, doesn't 
After i click the "Play" button, in the pre-menu nothing happens for 5-6 seconds. Then the game appears with a white blink and the icon shows on the Windows line in the bottom of the screen - BUT 0,5 second later it's gone again. I have not been able to get into the real game yet.
I have tried uninstalling a few times and i've tried both the 1.0.2.2 and 1.0.1.8 patch, but nothing works. - I've also tried deleting the PCM folder in "%AppData%" and also deleting the PCM folder in "My Docs"...
For the 4th or 5th time in my life i'm pissed on Cyanide for selling me a game that doesn't work! - Can anyone help?

I had also a problem like this.
You have to choose the same display resolution like you have in the game.

I've encountered and solved the problem. Here's the story:
About 3-4 months ago i formatted my HDD, and installed Windows 7 Ultimate. Since then i haven't installed a proper Screen Card driver and therefore my hardware wasn't able to accelerate... Now that i've installed the latest nVidia driver - Everything is fine!  |

I have the same problem. It has something to do with the resolution in the game, I think.
This happens every time i connect my computer to a smaller screen.
The only way i know to fix it is by reinstall the game (deleting everything that has something to do with PCM10 manually.) , so it starts with the resolution of the current screen.
But I hope there's another way, because its not funny to install all patches and other things over and over again.

If you just delete the Config folder in My Docs/PCM, it should reset your graphic settings. |
