EDIT: I've been testing this with a friend today and we can't get this to work. Tell me if it works for you. We both got pcm 08, we can easily play online via hamachi with direct connect, but for pcm 10 it doesn't work.

Me and some friends tried it.. And only the host got in the game, while the rest got an error message. We managed to play road race, but not track.
Anybody?

@ Pazflor: Could you answer some questions so I can find out why it doesn't work here?
-Did you both install any patches for pcm 10?
-Are you both on same windows? (Cause I got win 7 and my friend has Vista)
Crazy thing is, we're playing pcm 08 RIGHT NOW and that works without any problems. When we do the exact same thing for PCM 10, change the PCM folder in PCM Direct Connect + copying the files to PCM 10 directory, he can't connect.. |

Well, it didn't work.
First we both clicked "yes" when starting the game, this auto-updated to multi-patch 1.0.1.8. We tried playing through hamachi with this one, didn't work.
Then we installed the 1.0.2.0 beta patch from this website, same thing.
I'm hosting the games, my friend connects through PCMDirectConnect. PCM 10 launches, but then he gets stuck on a screen saying "have a little patience".
And we sure are doing the exact same thing as we did for PCM 08, cause we can still play that one.
Any ideas? |

Can someone please help? Is there anything different between PCM 08 en PCM 10 when playing online?
I used to play entire seasons of PCM 08 online with some friends over hamachi, we all bought the new PCM 10 with only one reason, playing it online, but we can't get this thing to work.
All suggestions are welcome.. |

In most cases, you need Hamachi and Direct Connect.
The host only needs Hamachi, the others join your Hamachi network and then join the game using DirectConnect.
It's perfectly possible to play a full Giro. You can load multiplayer save games in the same way that you load any other save game. |
