Re Crashing PCM2010

I looked forward to 2010 having enjoyed earlier versions.I was then a bit disappointed to find 2010 was just an update of 2009 but never mind. I only play it as a career management game and my equipment is more than adequate to cope. Season 1 was fine until I put scouts out (the most important part of the game in my eyes). When going back to check if they had found anyone the cursor became uncontrollable and seconds later the game crashed. I loaded the same game back up and sacked the scouts. Game then fine until at end of Season 2. The I re-employed scouts and immediately it crashed again. Anyone have any ideas. I suspect we have a good game in there but lousy softwear/programming.Ironically my version of PCM 2009 crashed fatally a few months ago and will not reload at all. I did not worry as 2010 was already pre-ordered !! My only option is to play PCM2008 which of course is well out of date. I would love to hear from designers/manufacturers as I see that I am far from alone

You can't really do anything to prevent the scouting bug. I'm supposing that it'll be fixed in the next patch.
