So, the question is, break or sprinters?

Fun Fact: There is a local farmers union whose aim as a region is to produce organic agriculture in the rural area to produce products that will introduce consumers to new things to try (and obviously buy), the production area covers 60km focussing on food and building materials.

Gotta love those local famers Looks like sprinters for me, but it'll be interesting to see how much work HTC will put into it, having lost Renshaw |

Looks like a breakaway with a cat. 3 within the last 10 kilometres. In general it looks like a very hilly stage, so the sprinters might let this stage go. |

Haha. I doubt this will be a sprinters stage. Now that Cav doesnt have his leadout man and farrar is out i think the peloton will let a break win

Think breakaway.. Will some of the sprinters go out? Hushovd, Rojas, Freire, Petacchi?
Well anyway, my bet is on Fedrigo. |

Break Won't go because:
Saxo: won't let it happen if a GC threat goes
Astana: Same as above
Caisse and The Shack: Won't let one another going unless both are in the same break
Lampre HTC: Both won't (or shouldn't even though they have already) let Green Contenders away.
And if one of the French teams isn't in the break and the rest are they will chase it back.
This does not mean however that someone won't breakaway from that final 3rd Cat climb. What I mean is this only takes affect towards the 'morning' break.

Hushovd got away in a breakaway yesterday, insane if you look at it from a Lampre perspective.. Maybe he will get some points tomorrow aswell, who knows

It seems like a good day for a breakaway. The race for the green jersey is the only really compelling storyline. |

the last day before the pyrenees mean that the sprinters will go all out for a win (or so i hope) |

Hushovd maybe out early to get a few more points and then fades back. Cav a long-shot for the stage win; I don't think the stage is flat enough for him.

Taaramae left the tour, he stepped out during the race.

Norwegian TV says Taaramae was completely burnt out and he will probably be out for some time. |

Well, he did already say before the Dauphiné that he had screwed up, overtrained, and completely burned himself out.
