Is there anyway to change colors to the interface with the race? Specifically the time gaps between groups on the road is very hard to read being white text on an off white semi-transparent background.

If this can't be changed, Cyanide should change the background color to a darker gray.

I'm 95 % sure that it can't be changed.

I've no idea why they changed it in the first place.

Some color settings in the option have an effect in 3D also but you have to try and that takes much time. To try it you can set unique special colors to all the options you are not sure what they mean, then start the 3D and have a look.
