When you have only one rider in a breakaway how do you get him restocked with water/food? |

I hope this doesn't mean he drops to the back of the peloton. I'd hope there's a team car a little closer.

its bad though if there is a high wind and towards the end of a stage
in RvV in 09, there was a high wind
i kept sending a man back (for biddons) but the group kept splitting up, meaning that the people who needed it couldn't get water (repeats and split) |

In such races, you must consider this possibility and either get bidons earlier (not on the pave) or have a contingency plan. |
