Breakaway question

When you have only one rider in a breakaway how do you get him restocked with water/food?

In a breakaway he has to do it alone, just click the water button.

I hope this doesn't mean he drops to the back of the peloton. I'd hope there's a team car a little closer.

Rider always drops to the back of his group, no matter which group is it.

He just drops to the back of the breakaway group not the back of the peloton

its bad though if there is a high wind and towards the end of a stage

in RvV in 09, there was a high wind
i kept sending a man back (for biddons) but the group kept splitting up, meaning that the people who needed it couldn't get water (repeats and split)

In such races, you must consider this possibility and either get bidons earlier (not on the pave) or have a contingency plan.
