Can I install patch 1.0.1.6 after 1.0.1.8?

Well, the question says it all. I downloaded the 8-patch yesterday, can I stil download the 6-patch? |

Download yes, but why should you install it? The patch 1018 contains everthing from patch 1016 and more. If you have a problem with the tourmalet stage, download a good real name DB where this stage is fixed. |

Okey, thanks. I have downloaded the "official" real name Db now, but wont start a serious career until the final PCMDaily DB is out. |

Not true.
Patch 1.0.1.8 does not fix the Tourmalet problem. Patch 1.0.1.6 does. |

That is just what I said, get a db where the tourmalet is fixed and you do not need the patch 1016. Or am I wrong about the problem beeing in the DB? |

You're wrong about that.
I haven't looked too much into the issue, but:
1. If you install e.g. the Daily DB on top of Patch 1.0.1.8, Tourmalet isn't there.
2. If you install Patch 1.0.1.6, then Patch 1.0.1.8, then the Daily DB, it's there (with the correct settings too).
The Daily DB is based on Patch 1.0.1.8. |

OK, thank you for clearing this matter.
So the best way would be to:
1 - Install the game
2 - Install patch 1.0.1.6
3 - Install patch 1.0.1.8
4 - Install the DB
In case somebody already installed patch 1.0.1.8 I would suggest to deinstall the game completely and start installing as described, but you could try to do steps 2 to 4 only. |
