How exactly does TT work. I haven't had game since 2007 edition which was pretty easy.

Here it seems as though in order to keep the two bars even, you have to be around 56 or so percent. Is this right?

I thought I did a good job keeping them even, but even with Millar(Garmin) still only placed like 20th.....1min48 back in Alagarve?

If it's completely flat you should try to do that.
When it's hilly you may recupurate in the descent so you can go faster on the hill.
in a prologue you it doesn't matter if your bars are not perfectely equal, but try to avoid a to big difference.

short time trials i find if i keep the heart rate at around 171 i get the best results, but for longer time trials around 166
