I think some things like podiums are a little messed up when playing on 08 but the races themselves work fine. I tried the champs elysse stage for 09 and it worked fine on 08. |

Ok thx. How do I go about adding custom stages so they will play in the game ? I'm currently coming to the end of the 2008 season, how would I add a custom stage so it would appear, say, during the 2009 season ? |

The easiest way is to add them as variants. If you have a look in Program Files/Cyanide/CM_Stages/variant and open the files (those ending with .descr and .rules) with Notepad, you should get an idea of how to do it.
Edit: The above is for already existing races.
If you want to add a completely new race, you'll have to do so in the save game (STA_race and STA_stage).

You have to put the stages (xml files) in programfiles/cyanide/cm_stages
