Problem with 1998 DB V1

So it's me again with some problems.
First of all I completely reinstalled PCM, deleting the rest of the game folder after the uninstall, the My Documents and the appdata Folder. Then I set up the game with the newest Patch and installed the DB with the .EXE in the game folder, and copied the content of the rar File to My Docs/Pro Cycling Manager/ . Now when I want to start a new career the game crashes after picking the team and hitting NEXT. Also when I want to play the TDF only as soon as the game is loading (Starting inrace server) the game crashes to the desktop. Any suggestions ?
