Sprinter Posts: 1855 Joined: 14-08-2007 PCM$: 200.00	What is the best shape to enter in a major Tour???? This the second carrer I start, and in the first I entered in TDF with Vinokourov with 84 pts of shape, and he was doing very good, leading the race, but then after the 1st TT he started to lose shape (3-4 pts every day) and I lost the Tour I don't know if this is a problem, but in that season I didn't do any pre-season training

You will continue to have more and more fatigue (to avoid that, read the links True Crue gave), but it will keep your rider fit and pretty much asure you win the Tour (in this case)
